Emergency Tag privacy and safety

Your chosen contacts are public

Emergency contacts you add are visible to anyone who opens the tag link. This includes chosen names, phone numbers, relationships and notes. A Call button does not make its underlying phone number confidential.

Only add details your contacts have agreed you can provide to FendTag and display publicly. Tell them about this notice and our Privacy Notice. Do not publish passwords, financial details, exact home addresses or unnecessary sensitive information.

A helper chooses whether to call

FendTag does not detect a crash, injury or emergency. Opening the page does not automatically call or text anyone. A Call button opens the phone’s dialler; the helper chooses whether to place a call. FendTag does not confirm whether a call connects.

For urgent help in the UK, call 999 or 112. Do not delay seeking emergency assistance to use FendTag. We cannot guarantee that a tag will be seen, opened or acted upon.

Information and connectivity

FendTag is a supplementary contact tool, not a medical device, clinical advice or an emergency-response service. Information is provided by the account holder and may be incomplete or outdated.

NFC needs a compatible phone. The QR code provides an alternative. An internet connection is normally required for the live page. Production medical-information and location collection are not enabled. Collapsing information behind a View button would not restrict who can reveal it.

Fitting and keeping it current

Follow the helmet or equipment manufacturer’s advice about stickers. Do not cover vents, safety markings or moving parts. Compatibility with every surface or helmet is not claimed.

Keep contacts and notes current. You can update or pause the page from your account. If you no longer control a tag, pause it and contact [email protected].
